Principal's Post - A Weekly Note From Mr. Ortman
Happy Halloween, Mill Creek!
It has been a busy week at Mill Creek with our Red Ribbon Week Spirit Days and the Halloween Events of today. Our students and staff have embraced the necessary adjustments for this year's school Halloween celebrations and have brought just as much "spirit" as ever! Thank you, Mill Creekers, for keeping the "magic" of Halloween.
Please enjoy the grade level virtual parades, "monsterfied" teachers/staff, and 6th Grade Pumpkin Contest submission, which are posted at the start of our newsletter. Thank you, Mill Creek Community, and especially HSA, for your help!
Stay safe and have fun!

Happy Halloween, Mill Creek!
Thank you for still bringing joy and fun... and some spookiness to our Halloween events this year. There was great participation in our Red Ribbon Week spirit week days both in school and virtually - some awesome PJ's on Tuesday, sports attire on Thursday, and the colors of Halloween popped on Friday!
We do hope you enjoyed seeing some the adults in our building "Monsterfied" (see some pics and even the full PowerPoint at the start of this newsletter), checking out our virtual Halloween parades (thank you for the submissions), voting on some amazing 6th grade pumpkins, as well as individual classroom activities.
Have a wonderful Halloween on Saturday. Have fun and be safe!
Mr. John C. Murtha
Assistant Principal

Important Family Travel Information
Central Bucks School District is adhering to its health and safety plan (aligned with CDC guidelines). As part of that plan, the District follows the COVID-19 Information for Travelers site, which is updated almost daily. Considering this, families who choose to travel should be informed when making that choice.
The site to follow this information is: https://www.health.pa.gov/topics/disease/coronavirus/Pages/Travelers.aspx
While the site says “recommend” quarantine, the District requires quarantine, so as to not infect any other persons should a member of the school District (teacher, support staff, student) have contracted the illness. Central Bucks School District encourages families to be mindful of the fact that when travelling they should avoid these areas. We encourage families to plan ahead, so they are able to plan accordingly if they have to travel to one of the locations on the quarantine list.
Please be advised if you are choosing to travel to a state/country that is on quarantine list your child(ren) will be required to quarantine for 14 days period, beginning on the date you return from travel. If your child(ren) attend school in-person, they will be permitted to return to the school building for instruction once that 14 day quarantine period has passed.
