Short, but, Busy Week Ahead

We want to remind everyone that next week is a short week across the district. Of course, on Monday, everyone will get to enjoy an extra day off as we celebrate MLK Jr. Day. Then, on Tuesday, all certified and support staff employees will be participating in various professional development activities across the district. We will have a different schedule for this PD day. Thus, it is very important that everyone reviews the PD schedule and is aware of the times and locations for your specific grade-level training. Any time not listed as a training, you will have time to collaborate and meet with your team at LVE. The only time the entire staff will meet together will be from 2:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. All SPED teachers need to select a Word Study and an Online Assessment training to attend (if applicable to your position). Please be sure to bring your WTW materials with you to the Word Study training.

Enjoy your long three-day weekend!

Once again you served your teams well by opening your classrooms for the NYTC Site Visit. Thank you for being willing to let your students be the demonstration class we were all able to learn from. We appreciate the extra time you took to communicate with our staff developer before the visit.
