I hope this message finds you well. It's hard to believe that the first quarter of the year has passed by so quickly, and here we are at our first break for the year. As we pause to reflect, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the warm welcome and tremendous support I have received from the entire school community during my first year as Principal.
This journey into my new role has been heartwarming and incredibly fulfilling. The dedication of our staff, the enthusiasm of our students, and the unwavering support from our families have made this transition a smooth and enjoyable one. I'm truly blessed to have this opportunity to lead our school, and I am committed to providing the best possible educational experience for our students.
As we move forward into the rest of the academic year, I am excited about the potential and the positive impact we can create together. Students at Glacier Peak have been participating in National Bullying Prevention Month in October. Students and adults have participated in theme weeks to promote KINDNESS and ACCEPTANCE to prevent bullying in the classroom and other youth settings. At the end of these events we will be showing our devotion to ending bullying by wearing orange as a building during our Unity Day on October 25th!
Currently, 50% of our families have applied. Help our school get to 70%!
Besides receiving benifits for your familiy, there is a competition between schools!
