Ila Elementary School is Beating the Odds in Student Achievement
The state released the "Beating the Odds" results and Madison County had 4 schools that Beat the Odds, meaning they scored better on the CCRPI than expected. Those schools are:
Colbert Elementary, Danielsville Elementary, Ila Elementary, and Madison County Middle School.
Comer Elementary, Hull-Sanford Elementary, and Madison County High School were within the "Expected Range".
This means none of our schools in Madison County were below the expected range! There is only one other school district in our RESA that had all of their schools in at least the expected range.
Parent Portal
The following link will take you to our district's IC Parent Portal resource web page that will help you login or get signed up if you have not already. If you have any questions or need support, please contact the school.

Don't forget to login to Parent Portal frequently to stay up-to-date on your Ila Gator's progress!
Ila Elementary School Inclement Weather Information
If school is closed due to inclement weather, if we have a delayed start due to inclement weather, or if we begin school but need to dismiss early due to inclement weather, the announcement will be made in several ways:
If you are signed up for alerts through Infinite Campus Parent Portal, you will receive an automated call.
If you are signed up for the school’s Facebook page, information will be posted.
The district website will have information, and the district will also announce the closing through media outlets. WNGC (106.1 on the FM dial) and WSB TV Channel 2 (out of Atlanta) are the best stations to follow for school closings.
Note... for a delayed start, everything (time the buses run, time the doors of the school open, etc.) is delayed by the amount of time announced. So, for example, if we are on a “2-hour delay,” plan for the bus to run two hours later than usual and for the doors of the school to be open no earlier than 9:00 a.m.
Mark Your Calendars for Our February Parent Conferences...
More information, including conference sign-up forms, will be coming home soon in Tuesday folders.
Unclaimed items will soon be donated.
