Teacher Working Conditions Survey - ALL Certified Staff
As a district, our goal is 100%, and Coltrane-Webb has never had 100%. If you provide me a screen shot of the final screen showing Thank you for completing the survey or whatever it says, you will be provided with 3 Jeans Passes. Last year we were at 88% and would like to get to 100% this year.
Please reflect on the past 7 months and remember the various trainings and supports in place. Additionally, we appreciate any and all positive and improvement feedback that is provided.

PBIS Matrix Review
Behavior Expectations
A few of the school-wide expectations that I would like to reiterate here are as follows:
1) Level 0 in the hallways
2) Level 0 when the music is playing in the cafeteria
3) Walk to throw away trash in the cafeteria
4) Monitor students lining up in the cafeteria both at entry and exit in the cafeteria
5) Clean and organized classrooms
6) Uniforms for all students
7) Hoods/hats off in the buildings/classrooms
8) Use of minor/major referral process
9) Communicating to other teachers during a transition if a student is agitated or frustrated so they have a heads up – ALL TEACHERS MUST WALK THEIR CLASS TO THE ENTRANCE OF ALL ENCORE TEACHERS AND ENSURE ANY INFORMATION THE ENCORE TEACHER NEEDS IS COMMUNICATED.
10) Playground safety - students should not be running up slides, going down backward, multiple students at a time should not be going down slides.
These are the major ones that I would like to reiterate here, but are by no means limited to and don’t infer the others are less important. PBIS will be reviewing the behavior matrix this week and any possible modifications made will be explicitly communicated.
Work Orders
We take pride in our campus and want to keep it that way. Please continue to let us know if work orders are needed and to draw attention to the fixes that may need to take place - remember, it takes a village.
STAFF SHOUT-OUTS!
Staff shout-out to Lance! As one staff member put it, he is "The quintessential unsung hero, Lance is the true glue that holds us all together; so much so, that we rarely see everything he contributes each and every day to the overall success of our CougarNation! Lance not only fixes issues before starting his day, answers every call with an “I’m on my way” flare, he also lets us all know time-after-time, “It will all be ok!”. He covers classes, recesses, picks up & comforts or re-calibrates ‘friends’ having issues - and then says “what can I do?”. He ALWAYS knows how to be in place, no matter the situation, and he always manages things responsibly, safely and with a true “I’m in!” mentality. Folks...we’re so lucky to have Lance on our team! He’s a super great guy, fun friend and so-so-so reliable! Thanks Lance...you’re the best!" I CANNOT AGREE MORE!
