Principal's Notes and Highlights

Happy Wednesday!

Today was a beautiful day and a wonderful way to wrap up the school year. I have heard from so many of you over the last couple of weeks about how much your family has enjoyed this year. Mr. Shipley and I were talking about how fast AND fun this year has been. He said it didn't feel like today was the last day and I'm also sad to see it end. Am I looking forward to not eating my lunch in two minutes? Yes of course :), but it has been an absolute blast getting to know your children and through school/PTO sponsored events, I have been able to build stronger relationships with our families.

People often ask me, "What makes CSA Lincoln so special?", and I always respond with the same response. It's the people that set us apart. It's the students who show up every day excited to learn, our staff who go above and beyond, and our parents who are deeply committed to making this school the very best. That is why I have the best job in the world. Thank you for your continued support.

I've included a button below of pictures from the Husky Field Day. I believe Mr. Kohne took several and once I get the link, I'll send them out as well. Thank you to the many parent volunteers who made today such a success. We could not have done it without you!

You'll be hearing from me mid-July with a welcome back letter and information for the start of the year.

Two dates you need to be aware of are:

Open House- Tuesday, August 1st- 5:30-6:30 p.m.

First Student Day- Wednesday, August 2nd

Have a great summer!

Fidgit Free CSA Lincoln in 2017-2018!

Starting with the 2017-2018 school year, CSA Lincoln will be a fidget free zone. These toys will be treated like all other toys and students will be expected to leave them at home. I wanted to get you this information now so you didn't feel compelled to buy the newest version this summer.
