School Spirit Comes Shining Through!
This week we had our Box of Joy kick off event. Students sang together, watched a video, and learned about putting Jesus and others before ourselves. Ask your child about the Box of Joy project and look to your email and VIP folder for more information.

Halloween Costumes for Oct. 31st
Grades preschool-grade 8 may wear costumes to school
The great news for students is that the Halloween celebrating will still be happening at St. Valentine. For the first time in over 14 years ALL students will be allowed to wear their Halloween costumes to school and teachers are planning a class party or activity for the day.
Costumes need to be school appropriate- no blood or gore, no weapons or accessories, and no masks. Students need to be able to play at recess and will go outside- so plan for the weather and safety when running. Any student who does not want to wear their costume may come out of uniform in their Halloween colors. Remember this is a gym day for some classes. Oct. 31st will be a fun day at St. Valentine.
