What Happened Last Week....
What Will Happen This Week...
Matt and Molly
In our story Matt and Molly have a cold fish and they put a hat on the fish bowl to warm it up. We will read the story and work on answering what, where, who, when, and yes/no questions regarding our new story this week.
Table Time
Thursday - MOTOR GROUP- Our occupational and physical therapists will be implementing theme-oriented fine and gross motor activities during this time.
Friday - Bubble wrap painted fish- could cut out when dried. Paint bubble wrap- using a tool to paint, then stamp bubble wrap onto the fish.

School Safety Seminar: Preventing and Responding to Possible School Shooters in LSR-7 Lee’s Summit R-7 School District parents and community members are invited to this informational session focusing on emergency-response training being offered to all staff members this year. You will hear from R-7 staff and law-enforcement officials about the half-day Active Shooter / Intruder Response Training as well as programs and strategies that help school staff prevent school violence. In addition, parents will learn more about their role in helping spot potentially dangerous situations and how to respond in case of a school lockdown or other emergency. 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16 Lee’s Summit North High School 901 NE Douglas St.

Time: 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Items to bring with you:
Child’s birth certificate or legal birth document
Child’s immunization record
Current proof of residency - current, original utility bill (only electricity, gas (not propane), water or water statement of account); bill must show resident’s name
2016 Kindergarten Screening
May 10, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
and
May 12, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Your student’s screening appointment will be scheduled at Registration
Both events will take place at your child’s elementary building and are required for school enrollment. Please check the district website at www.lsr7.org; then the “find bus information” section if you have questions regarding which building he/she will attend. All other questions should be directed to the elementary school in your attendance area.
