LIFE & FAMILY SERVICES - UPDATES!
VIRTUAL Peers Program "2020" - Thank you Korynn Freels!
Tough topics such as tobacco and alcohol use, self-esteem, abstinence, teen parenthood, and sexually transmitted infections are typically subjects we don't find very easy to talk about. Nonetheless, they are topics young teens need to know before it's too late. Thanks to Korynn Freels (our Peers Program Coordinator), EN's 7th and 8th graders have been well informed of each of these topics through the Peers Program! You may be asking, "How?" seeing as how schools were working remotely for the remainder of the spring semester...Well, thanks to Korynn, creative steps were taken in order to reach out to students virtually! Korynn worked hard to design a Peers Program where students could participate from the safety of their home! Check out the video below for the highlights!
Baby Bottle Campaign
Thankfully, as restrictions begin to lift and the world tries to make its way back to a bit of normalcy, we have been able to start campaigning again! The local churches and businesses here in Noble County provide tremendous support during Baby Bottle campaign each year, and we are so thankful that many of the churches have been able to re-open and begin campaigning for our mission! If your church or business would be interested in joining the Baby Bottle Campaign as well, please call us at (260) 347-5720, or email Joey Espinoza at jespinoza@lfsfamilies.org. We appreciate your consideration!
