The Pawsome Print
February 12, 2021
Dear Pawsome Families,
I hope that you have a nice school break and your family has the chance to relax and recharge. I know that I am looking forward to spending some time playing UNO and reading books with my son. A few of our favorite books right now are Most People by Micheal Leannah, Stephen Curry: The Children's Book: The Boy Who Never Gave Up by Anthony Curcio, and Have You Thanked an Inventor Today? by Patrice McLaurin.

'Sadness Isn't Forever': Helping Kids Persevere Through The Pandemic
In this article, child psychiatrist, Nancy Rappaport shares key strategies for helping kids cope while creating a path forward for resiliency.
COVID Information
- If you travel out of state, even to a property you own, you must produce a negative PCR test that has been taken within 72 hours of entering the state.
- Our new pool testing DOES NOT replace the need for testing for out of state travel or testing if your child is ill. You must still find a PCR testing location on your own for your child to be tested.
We are all working hard to keep your children and families safe and are so grateful for your assistance.

Greeting of the Week
We are looking to learn how to say Good Morning in more languages! If your child or family would like to be part of our morning announcements, please record them saying Good Morning in another language and send it to Mr. Gaita or Mrs. Harvey. In the recording have your child say their name, and how to say good morning in the language. Have them repeat the good morning three times so we can learn. Here is an example.
Hi, I am Sara Harvey and I am going to teach you how to say good morning in French. You say Bonjour. Say it with me, Bonjour. Bonjour.
This is what we have learned so far!
