Last Call for Letters of Recommendation- I have completed all private school recommendation requests. Please read our FAQs/Etiquette for Letters of Recommendation and submit any requests ASAP as we've already passed my deadline for requests. I always finish requests before December in order to focus on my family during the winter season.
Labeling Clothing - throughout the year we periodically donate our Lost & Found items to students in need in another district. Please make sure to label your child's clothing with Sharpie so we can return their items whenever possible. We like to keep our Lost & Found items to a minimum in the winter when items can develop mildew in the weather.
Burlingame Parks & Rec 2024 Spring Catalog - preview upcoming enrichment & sports offered through Burlingame Parks & Rec. Make sure to note locations in class offerings.
Have a wonderful, wonderful Fall Break!

Fingerprints Required to Volunteer/Chaperone
Burlingame School District and I are firm that folks working with students during school hours must clear fingerprints before volunteering/chaperoning.
Once you have completed your fingerprint process, please email so we can look for updates regarding your fingerprint clearance:
- volunteer@burlingameschools.org
- Mrs. Afshar lafshar@burlingameschools.org
- Mrs. Pape gpape@burlingameschools.org
These steps can take some time. We highly encourage families to work on gathering requirements to volunteer as soon as possible so we do not have any delays in volunteers joining our festivities on campus.
FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE
- If you previously submitted your fingerprints to the BSD, either for Lincoln, BIS, or any other BSD elementary school, BSD has them on file and you do not need to do them again.
- A Live Scan location or any UPS store to have your prints done. The BSD only requires your fingerprints once. If you have previously submitted your fingerprints to the BSD, either for Roosevelt, BIS, or any other BSD elementary school, BSD has them on file and you do not need to do them again. The BSD sends all of its staff to the UPS store in Burlingame Plaza. If you inform them that you are from the BSD, they will know exactly what to do.
