Digital Citizenship Week 2016

In support of Digital Citizenship week and Connected Educator month, the following activities will take place during the week of October 17-21. All students and staff are encouraged to participate. Together we can model and promote positive digital citizenship in our school and community!

October 17-21, 2016: Digital Citizenship Week Activities

Monday: Media Monday: Find and share an inspirational or motivational quote (don’t forget to credit the source) that you can relate to.

Tuesday: Toolkit Tuesday: Teacher will share @mrbadura Digital citizenship Survival kit lesson. Students will think of an additional item and share why it could be added to the kit.

Wednesday: Wordy Wednesday: Create a Word Collage using words and phrases associated with a positive digital presence. You can use and app like Word Salad or the website: http://www.abcya.com/word_clouds.htm

Thursday: Tip Thursday: Create an image with text in an app/website such as Canva or Adobe Post. Your image must be Open Stock (not violating any copyright) Use your image and add text to create a digital citizenship tip or message to share.

Friday: Photo Friday: Take a photo of you, your friends, or teachers at school. Photo should represent you and your school in a positive way.
