Notes from the Principal

Next week, construction will begin at Riverview as fencing was installed around the south end of our building. Please make sure you read through the new drop-off and pick-up procedures, as there will not be a pathway from our south parking lot to the playground. If you have any questions, please reach out and we appreciate your understanding as we navigate through this process.


Monday, November 21st and Tuesday, November 22nd, the front circle drive will be closed. If you are visiting the school anytime during those two days, you will need to utilize street parking.

November's Goal

We have made it! We reached our goal of 500 items collected! Congratulations to our 1st grade students and teachers who led us through this goal setting! They demonstrated their understanding of Habit 2, which is 'Begin With the End in Mind,' and Habit 6, which is 'Synergize.' We want to also thank all the families who donated the items to the Neighbor's Place, as it is much appreciated.

Please make sure you are sending your children to school with the MAGIC FIVE (jacket, hat, mittens, snowpants, and boots). Students will need snowpants and boots in order to play in the snow.

4K-2nd grade practices from 5:30-6:15
3rd-5th grade practices from 6:30-7:30
Friday advanced practice from 5:30-6:30

Registration is $40 per child ($80 max per family)

Notes From The Health Office

Should your child become ill Please follow these guidelines from The Wausau School District:


  • Please know masks are optional within the district. If you would like to send your child to school with a mask you are welcome to do so.
  • If your child is sick ( Covid - 19 or something else) , please keep them home
  • If your child is showing Covid -19 symptoms , we recommend they get tested. We accept PCR, Rapid Antigen and Home tests.
  • If the test comes back negative, they can return to school when they are fever free for 24 hours without medication and improved symptoms.
  • If they test positive , we recommend that they quarantine for five days from onset of symptoms.
