DHS Robotics Team Qualifies for State
District Spelling Bee
Congratulations to all the fourth and fifth graders who competed in the D3 Spelling Bee at Widefield High School on Thursday, February 7, 2019. Huge thank you to pronouncer Erik Nelson, judge Theresa Watson, facilitators Lindsay Sandell Jimenez and LaTisha Donaldson, and coaches Pamela Tallman, Shelby Hoffman, Shana Engel, Dana Johnson, Brittany George, Julie Wivholm, Catherine Abiera-Lumbres, Carla Borck, and Stephanie Lacy.

Hand Built Adirondack Chairs
Students in the construction course at the MiLL are making Andriondack chairs to sell as a fundraiser for SkillsUSA. The proceeds from the chairs will help fund MiLL students in the state competition. The base price for a chair is $50, an additional fee of $10 to paint the chair.
Paint colors include:
- Matte Purple
- Gloss Black
- Satin Gloss White
- Gloss Gray
- Gloss Brown
- Yellow
- Light Gloss Blue
- Dark Gloss Blue
