OUR ANNUAL FALL FUNDRAISER WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!
T.S. Cooley families helped us surpass our fall fundraiser goal. Thank you for all your support. Rewards are scheduled for the last week of September. PTO will send out certificates next week.
LABEL ALL PERSONAL ITEMS
Please label all student clothing, water bottles and other personal items. It makes it easier for us to return items to the correct student.

Coming up in October: Book Fair Pumpkin Contest - Details are coming soon. Now is the time to shop for your artificial pumpkin before they are all sold out.
CONGRATULATIONS T.S. COOLEY ALL STATE CHOIR MEMBERS
Eight T S Cooley students made the Louisiana All-State Choir. They will rehearse and perform in New Orleans October 27-29. Selected fourth graders are Arya Gonzales-James, Shelby Jagneaux, Elsie Thatcher, and Riley Webb. Selected fifth graders are Peyson Denton, Sydnee Donald, Jack Johnson, and Annie Prunty.

GRANDPARENT DAY CELEBRATIONS
We will be hosting Grandparent Day celebrations for each grade level. Programs will begin at 8:30 in our school cafeteria and will include a small presentation on stage followed by breakfast with our guests. A photo station will be available for $5 per picture. Grandparents can plan to be on campus with us for approximately one hour.
We are not collecting advance payments for pictures. Pictures will be $5 each (exact amount appreciated), cash or check only. All proceeds from pictures go in our school beautification fund.
2021-2022 YEARBOOK UPDATE
There was a delay with shipment on last year's book. Books should be delivered and distributed in the next few weeks. Thank you for your patience.
REPORTING ABSENCES
- Please contact the front office if your child will be absent.
- COVID Update: Students will be out for 5 days from the start of symptoms. Masks are recommended upon return to school for 5 days. Send a copy of the positive results to our front office.
- COVID Contact Update: Direct contacts are not required to quarantine unless they begin showing symptoms. A mask is recommended, not required.
- Doctor's excuses and parent notes should be sent to the front office for all other illnesses and absences.
