CLUB DAY IN THE FOREST
The Book Fair is HERE!!!
The Book Fair will be held from October 3-7 in the Roan Forest Library. Book Fair hours are 8:00-4:00 Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We will be open until 6:00 on Tuesday, October 4. The Book Fair will close early on Friday at 10:00 since it's an early dismissal day.
Remember to include TAX with any money that your child brings to the book fair.
Any profit from the Book Fair will be used to pay for visiting authors and speakers that we host in the library.

Come Join Roan Forest Elementary
On Wednesday, October 5
For International Walk to School Day
Meeting Location: Piñon Creek Subdivision at the corner of Roan Park and Impala Circle.
Time: 7:15 to 7:25AM
Parents can park along Roan Park and walk with their child or students can be dropped off at the meeting location with parent volunteers who will walk with students up to the front entrance of the school.
Walk to School Day is an annual, international event that promotes walking for fun physical activity and a cleaner environment. It also builds a sense of community when students get to see friends and neighbors as they walk to school.
Meeting Location 2: Evans Ranch Subdivision at the school gate entrance. A parent volunteer will be there to wait with students.
Time: 7:05 to 7:20AM
Participating students will receive a Spirit Stick.

PTA General Meeting on Tuesday, October 4 at 6PM Roan Forest Cafeteria
Our general meeting will begin at 6:00PM. We will review the programs we have organized to date and provide information about our upcoming events. Our meeting will take 30 minutes and will be followed by the Roan Forest Trailblazer Singers.
Our Spirit Store will be open before the meeting for families to purchase spirit items. We will have shirts available including ¾ length sleeve shirts, Spirit Shirts, and long sleeve shirts remaining from last year. All shirt supplies are limited. We will also have jewelry, tumblers, bows, and headbands available.

Scholastic Book Fair – Oct. 3 through Oct. 7
Join us before the General PTA meeting on Tuesday to visit the Scholastic Book Fair. The Book Fair will be open after school from 4 to 6:00PM on Tuesday, October 4.
Volunteer Opportunities “The greatest gift you can give a child, is your time.”

All Reflection entries are due by Friday, October 14. Students will be able
to drop off their art entries at Roan Forest in the Rotunda starting
Tuesday, October 11 through Friday, October 14.
Students can submit entries in multiple categories which include:

· Literature
· Film Production
· Photography
· Visual Arts
· Musical Composition
