Hoodies and Headphones!

HOODIES: Sweatshirts, sweaters, or t-shirts with an attached hood are allowable at school. However, the hood part must not be pulled over the head at any time at school or on the buses due to it impeding student identification. HEADPHONES: Students are allowed to bring headphones (wireless or with a cord) and use them in the common areas as long as one ear remains free of the obstruction. This allows students to hear important announcements and could possibly prevent accidents due to inability to hear adult commands.

Parents, we appreciate your support as we continue to remind students of these safety measures as well as other dress code issues. See the attached KISD Discipline Management Plan and Student Code of Conduct for more information pertaining to Dress Code. (page vii)
