Keeping the Crew up to Date! Volume 2 Issue 29 - 4/2/23
Greetings Clipper Nation!
We have a short week this week, but it is important as we mark the end of the 3rd term on the 5th.
On April 4th, during Flex, the entire school will practice a "Safe in Place" status and a "Lockdown" status. Again, this will be a practice. Attached to the message are the terms we use as it relates to school safety (Avoid, Deny, Defend) and what should take place during the "Safe in Place" and "Lockdown" status. We will have a sign on the front door reminding guests that you will not be admitted into the building during the drill, and we will not be able to release your student. The drills will occur between 10:40 and 11:20. Once the drills are completed, we will return to regular status.
If your student has missed more than five unexcused days this term, please have them contact their administrator for attendance recovery. Without attendance recovery, the student will fail their classes.
Don't forget that on the 5th we have an early dismissal so students will be released at 11:45 with a grab and go lunch.

How to Stay in the Know?
The best way to stay in the know is to make sure we have accurate information on file. Please look over all the information on the Student Personal Data and Enrollment Information Form as this is the information we currently have on file for you. Make any corrections to the form in blue. If you need additional space for emergency contact use a separate sheet of paper. Sign the back of the form and return it to the school. If you prefer to fill out a new form you can find a copy on our website.
