A Note From the Teacher
We have had a fantastic start in February! We learned that the groundhog did see his
shadow...six more weeks of winter for us. I'm hoping the groundhog is wrong. I love warm weather.
In addition to Groundhog Day, we celebrated the 100th day of school on Thursday. We had a fun day and did many 100 day activities. Thank you everyone who donated items for our 100 day snack!
Next week, we will continue with our unit on polar animals. We will explore ways polar animals show live in cold habitats, stay warm and dry. This a very fun unit for all of us!
Finally, It's hard to believe, but Valentine's Day is right around the corner on Wednesday, February 14. We will be decorating large valentine envelopes in class next week. If you would like to donate any valentine stickers or foam shapes that we could use, we would greatly appreciate it! We will be passing out the cards on Valentine's Day; however, you may send them in as you finish them.
I look forward to another “LOVEly” week together! Thank you as always for sharing your child with us! Have a great weekend!
