Day 4 classes on 11/8, Wednesday
- Students come to the book fair during their class library time. Drop them off and pick them up in the cafeteria.
- Parent shopping time at QE is during the Parent Teacher Conference Night on Monday, November 6th from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
- Online shopping is available 11/2-11/15. https://www.scholastic.com/bf/quakertownelementaryschool
- PIE volunteers will be graciously helping us during the fair. They have graciously organized a book drive so that every student will go home with a free book.
- Activity pages and wish lists are offered to students and everyone is welcome to browse whether they have money to purchase items or not.
We also are requesting volunteers to support organizing the book fair. Here is a sign-up genius!

Food Drive!
Shop with a Cop
Shop with a Cop is a holiday program which supports families who are experiencing homelessness, financial constraints, foster care/adoption, incarceration of parent/guardian, family medical issues, etc. This heartwarming initiative allows children to shop with an officer to purchase Christmas gifts for themselves and their family members. The event not only affords them a brighter holiday season, but also helps strengthen relationships with local law enforcement. Each child has $150.00 to spend while shopping with an officer, and the family receives $100.00 store credit to purchase food, household items, or gifts for their kids. Children are also given a school backpack full of essential items, and dinner the night of the event. In 2022 we hosted 271 children, and provided over $60,000.00 to families.

Findhelp.org
At findhelp.org, we created a social care network that connects people and programs — making it easy for people to find social services in their communities, for nonprofits to coordinate their efforts, and for customers to integrate social care into the work they already do.
More than 300,000 users in Pennsylvania have searched for services via the findhelp.org network. As we experience unprecedented levels of unemployment, food insecurity, sickness, and general adversity, we want to highlight the impact our network is having in Pennsylvania and affirm our commitment to helping individuals in need.
