Classroom News and Reminders
EOG Snacks- Would you like to help provide a special snack for our EOG testing days? If so, please message me via Dojo to set something up. The kids always enjoy a special treat after they have worked so hard to show what they have learned.
Behavior- This is the time of year where everyone is getting a little rambunctious and excited about the end of the school year. We still have a lot to learn and accomplish in the next couple of weeks. Please remind your child to come to school every single day ready to learn, follow directions and show glorious kindness to everyone!
Summer School Invitations- Thank you for returning the summer school invitations. I can answer additional questions about summer school during conferences.
Awards Day- Our class awards will be on May 20th at 12:45. More detailed information about awards will be coming home this week. I hope that everyone will be able to come and celebrate an amazing year.
Mark Your Calendars-This is a busy time of year! I have listed several important dates above. Please try to not to schedule appointments on these dates. I will update the calendar weekly.
Snack- Please make sure that your child brings a small snack (just one) and water bottle to school each day.

Dojo , Planners and Smore- Please check Class Dojo and your child's planner each day.Thank you to those that are already doing this. I will update the Smore every Sunday and will post the updated link on Dojo. (You will know it is updated when I post the link.)
Classroom Wants and Needs
Thank you for supporting our classroom this year! I appreciate all of the supplies and goodies that you have sent in.
Have questions for the school nurse?
COVID - Please be overly cautious when considering when to send your child to school. It is VERY important that we all follow the guidelines when it comes to quarantining. If you have been around someone that is sick or has tested positive, please reach out to the school nurse to get information about what you need to do. Read over the attestation form each day to make sure that your child is healthy and able to come to school. Masks should be worn to school each day and washed in between uses.
Our school nurse Kimberly Sluder is here to help you navigate this challenging year. You can find her at school at 336-838-4261 or on ClassDojo. You can also reach her by email -- Nurse Sluder at sluderk@wilkes.k12.nc.us
