Tips for Juniors

The more you prepare now, the less you will stress during your Senior year.

Aside from researching colleges and career options, you can start creating your Activities Chart.

An Activities Chart is a document you will need when asking for letters of recommendation, applying for college admissions and scholarships, or writing your resume. It is a summary of your extracurricular, employment, and academic experiences.

Start gathering information that you would like to share about yourself, including your accomplishments, awards, work experience, school clubs and athletics, church involvement, volunteering, etc. throughout your school years to create your Activities Chart.

Here is an example you can use or you can create your own.

Stop by the College & Career Center if you would like to receive more details about preparing for your Senior year.

PSU Viking Scholar Event for Juniors

Juniors, if your GPA is 3.5 or above and Portland State University is one of your college choices, you are invited to attend PSU's Viking Scholars event on Tuesday, May 24th from 6:30-8:15pm.
