Teacher Brag Board

"On Friday, Misty Horienk text me to see if she could be of help with morning duty since we had so many teachers out. Now, that is a team player! Thank you, Misty, for putting the TRIBE first!" ~Jennie Flaa, Principal

"Shout out to the STEP class for an amazing baked potato lunch. I was looking forward to it all week and the students did an amazing job!" ~ Mary Maddox, Social Studies

Important Information You Need To Know About Texting!

You might have already heard on the announcements that we are going to have a contest with your 3rd-period classes.

In trying to promote "random acts of kindness" we are hosting a "Howl-O-Ween Toy Drive". The class that gathers the most toys will receive a popcorn party. The dates of the drive are October 21st - 25th (but really we will just gather them the 25th). Please know that all you have to do is gather dog/cat toys, and have the most.

All of the toys gathered will be donated to the Linda McNatt Animal Shelter in Denton, along with blankets created during lunches that week.

Random Acts of Kindness

Our 2nd six weeks theme is Acts of kindness (bully prevention). As we promote this amongst our students we would also like to do this amongst our staff. To do so, a bulletin board has been created in the front office (near the staff shout-out board) with random acts of kindness suggestions. We ask that you do so with the following steps:

1. Take an act from the board

2. Do the act

3. Capture the act in photo or video and post it to a social media outlet with the hashtag #tribeoverme

*Prizes will be awarded along the way, so let's be kind to one another, as well as take an opportunity to WIN!

Nuts & Bolts

Blood Drive - There are about 20 spots left for the blood drive on October 23rd. Last year some coaches donated in their student's names since some athletes cannot donate. Any teacher who wants to donate during their conference period is welcome to come down and donate in the name of a senior. You don't have to sign up, just come down and Ms. Chancellor will fit you in!

Tribe Time - We will have a short faculty meeting Thursday to present a few ways to make Tribe Time better for all!
