Transition Plus

Moving Forward in the World

It's finally here!

Well, it's been an amazing year with many personal and professional ups and downs for so many of us. There has been great joy and great loss.

Among the staff and students there has been great growth!

During the last week, attending both Project Search graduations and the T-Plus graduation, I heard from family members and students what a difference we make in students' lives. I am so thankful to be a part of this amazing school and I thank each of you for giving of yourself to students.

As we say goodbye to many of our students we also say goodbye to many of our colleagues. For some of you, you are finally retiring after many years of service to students. For others you are moving onto other family, or career opportunities. We appreciate all you have done and will continue to do in different capacities for students.

Please make sure to be looking at your email in August for the welcome back letter- it will be electronic once again. I will let you know what the welcome back week looks like.

There are a number of staff that will be doing some additional work this summer in order to be more prepared for next year. I am looking forward to seeing what some rest and time to rejuvenate can produce for our students.

We could not run Transition Plus with each and every one of you.

Thank you for your role in helping our students succeed!

SEA Referrals

We still have a number of open SEA positions- if you know of good candidates, please encourage them to apply. If they are bilingual, even better!

Memo Videos

I will be putting together a list of all of the videos I put out this year on the Monday Morning Memos. If you come across some videos you think would be great to share over the summer, please let me know.
