A Message from Principal Ghereben
We have finished the last week of January, and we are working towards finishing the second Trimester strong. Teachers are working hard to finish up their instructional units and math modules are we prepare to assess student learning in February.
Thank you for another strong month of support while remain in Distance Learning together. We hope that we will be able to see eachother soon on campus when it is deemed safe to do so.
Please take some time to read through all of this week's Distance Learning Announcements and Updates. You will also find our end of the month's Friday Flag Assembly video below. I am so proud of all our students who continue to work hard and show their Proctor Pride daily even while they remain in a virtual classroom setting.
Thanks again for your continued partnership!
Sincerely,
Heather Ghereben

January 30 is Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution!
Join us on Saturday, January 30th at 3PM PT | 5PM CT | 6PM ET for the virtual celebration of the Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution with special guests. We honor a Japanese American, civil rights activist and icon who challenged the constitutionality of the incarceration of Japanese Americans during WWII.
On the 10th anniversary of Fred Korematsu Day in California, we remember one man’s legacy and how it continues to inspire people across diverse communities and now, more than ever, demonstrates the importance of speaking up and standing up to fight injustice. We will also celebrate other change-makers who got into "good trouble" and have and are working now in our communities. Our celebration is free of charge, however donations are appreciated.
Together, we can carry on my father's legacy and educate to fight for the social justice and racial equality we urgently need today.

With gratitude,
Karen Korematsu
