Thought for the Week: What's your Resolution??
I see and hear so many examples of this daily, and never get the chance to share this with everyone. I see teachers looking at ways to grow their lessons and engage students more; moving their kids around and modeling for them ways to have more meaningful conversations; pulling in technology for more than a digital pencil; being up and always readily at the shoulders of students instead of behind a desk; working to step back and allowing the students to lead the learning. Each of these are things I have seen or heard teams discussing in direct and indirect ways to make things happen at GBE. So, simply I want to be out seeing your awesomeness!
For me, this relates back to a personal connection. I love a sign that my family has by their back interior garage door- "Come on in. We're AWESOME in here!" That is how I feel about our team at GBE-- from our Cafeteria, Hallways, Playground to our Classrooms-- appreciate your talents and shine them to share with everyone and make our school even better! I know I see it every single day, and greatly appreciate each of you-
Happy New Year Everyone! Come on in We Are AWESOME at GBE! :)
