BEAR CREEK BLAST
January 23rd-27th
From Dr. Bryan Calvert, Principal
On Thursday we held our 15th Annual Around the World at Bear Creek! This is an amazing event where our students and their families get to share information about their country of origin. It was encouraging to see our students share about their country and observe as their schoolmates listened intently. Bear Creek is a special place and Thursday was another great example of our community, students, and staff Building an Excellent School Together! BCE is the BEST!

EVERY MINUTE MATTERS
This is an important time of year for your student’s learning. Please make every effort to arrive early so that your student doesn’t miss important work.
With the cold or rainy weather more people come through our car line in the mornings. On cold mornings we open the front foyer for students to stay warm until 7:25 am when they are released to go to class. If your student is not dropped off by 7:35 am there is a good chance that they will be late to class and miss important learning.
Tips for morning drop off, that will also help our line move faster:
Arrive to campus by 7:30 am so you can get through the car line and your student to class on time.
As you approach campus, have your student gather their things and be ready to get out when it is their turn.
For safety reasons, students should only get out on the passenger side of the car.
Prepare and pack bags before your child goes to bed each night.
