The Central Bucks Board Note
March 2022 Meetings in Review
Board Recognizes Students and Staff
SkillsUSA Medalists
Students from various technical schools throughout Pennsylvania, including Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT), recently competed in this year’s SkillsUSA competitions. SkillsUSA is the national organization for students in trade, industrial, and technical education. The contests are planned by technical committees comprised of representatives of labor and management and are designed to test performance skills needed in a student’s given field of study.
Among the 55 competitors representing MBIT, 34 were awarded medals for their performance in competition with students representing schools throughout Bucks, Delaware, Chester, and Philadelphia counties. Central Bucks students earned 23 of those 34 medals. The nine gold, nine silver, and five bronze medalists were invited to the meeting to be recognized by the board for their hard work and achievement. The students earning gold medals will represent the region in the SkillsUSA State Competition.
Central Bucks High School South Medley Relay Team - State Champions
