News from Ms. Tornopsky
November Edition
Dear Franklin Families,
Happy November!
We are well into the second quarter for the year and we have done so much already! Have you checked out our posts on the Franklin Academy Charter School social media venues? If not, please do and follow the pages so you can see all the fun things we are doing on campus. Here are the links:

As a reminder: Elementary school starts at 7:30. Students who are arriving after that time are marked as tardy. If you have excessive tardies, you may get a letter from the district regarding truancy. Middle school start time is 8:30. Same thing will apply for students who are arriving after that time as well. Please partner with the school in ensuring your student is set up for success. That starts with arriving on time and being in full uniform.
Are you or someone you know looking for a job? We are still hiring classroom aides and have 3 more positions available. We also are always looking for substitute teachers. If you may be interested, please go to this link and apply: https://www.franklin-academy.org/employment
Sincerely,
Ms. Rena Roseff-Tornopsky

Student COVID Policy Update
Please read the updated COVID student policy on our website, which was updated 10/15/21:
In addition, when a student is quarantining or home with COVID all classwork should be posted to the teachers Google Classroom. This work can be accessed by all students. As long as a student is able to, health wise, they should be completing their work and submitting it to the teacher. While we are not permitted to do virtual teaching at this time, a student can request the teacher have a Google Meet, when the teacher is available, to help the student with any questions they may have.
Please contact the teacher with any questions regarding the posting of work, or available times. All students should have already joined the Google Classrooms for their teachers, if not, again please speak with the teacher.
