2017-18 Calendar Survey
Please take a few moments to take the following survey to provide us your preference on a few key items. The survey will remain open until today, February 17 at 4 p.m.
Housekeeping
- Remember when you are looking at the calendars that teachers are generally on 187-day or 210-day contracts. There was some confusion earlier in the week when people were looking at the proposed calendars. Visually is looks like they add more teacher days but really the number of days are the same.
- The afternoon of your PD is yours to plan. This is a good time plan, research, and/or implement new learning.

Brendon sends a howl of creativity to Chrissy Miller and Vanessa Hatcher for stepping up to develop appropriate lesson plans to post for the Life Skills students that give plenty of information about each lesson while still omitting sensitive information.
Brendon sends a massive howl to Chris Hrenko for volunteering to cover teacher classes whenever ARDs go long. He covered two in one day this week!
Brendon also sends a howl of gratitude to Rachel Harper and Brooke Schuster for stepping up and attending ARDs when the general education teacher could not attend.
Grimes howls out a HUGE differentiated howl to Barbara, Michael and Chris.
Babs- Your precision, clarity and leadership is a spark for me. LOVE it! Chris- your lens to view what students need and how they think and process is exciting! Michael- your calm quiet resolve and subtle humor is a strength that anchors others.
The three of you are FABULOUS! What a gift to get to be a part of your team and your thinking. I love you all.

A championship howl goes out to Brooke Teeter-Stocz for winning 7th grade basketball Zone Tournament! She did such a great job with her girls this season and we are very proud of her!
A "teamwork makes your dreamwork" howl goes out to all the coaches for coming in early and staying late this week after school for track tryouts. The boys' coaches are finishing up basketball and coaching track this week and doing a fantastic job. This is the great team to work with and I know track season is going to be great!
Ilia would like to give a Humongous shout out for an amazing job with grade changes. Thank you, everyone!
Brooke gives a loud appreciative howl to Rachel and Nate for coming to the girls zone tournament this past weekend and helping me out with stats, book, and coaching the girls!
