Meet the Teachers
Please remember that all teachers have limited availability and may not be available at the time you request. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule and your preference for a teacher.

Mrs. Zickefoose is available for in-person piano lessons.
We are hiring!
We are working on hiring more teachers!
If you or someone you know would be interested in working with up, please reach out to Kyra York (kyork@nca.school).
If you don't see a teacher available for your instrument, please still submit a Request Form. This is how we track interest in other instruments.
FAQs
What if you don't have a teacher listed for my instrument?
What's the difference between Private Lessons and the Beginning Piano class?
Beginning Piano is a one-hour, once a week class for 7 K-3 students, usually held for 10 weeks and usually offered twice a year. This class fills up fast, but is a good starting point for young students with no piano experience before entering private lessons.
What if I need to cancel a lesson?
Please contact your teacher first. If you cannot reach them, please leave them a voicemail, text, or email at the number or address they give you. You may also contact Kyra York (kyork@nca.school) or Sarah Doty (sdoty@nca.school), as a secondary measure if you like, but you should always contact your teacher first.
What happens if I am late to drop off or pick up my child?
If you are late for your lesson, you will have whatever time remains before the next timeslot. Teachers are not required to make up any missing time for late students or students picked up early.
If you are late to pick up your student, they will be escorted to After Care. Please note as there is no drop-in After Care, you will be charged a late pick-up fee.
What if I need to reschedule a lesson?
If you need to reschedule the remainder of your lessons for the year and your teacher is unable to accommodate your new needs, you may contact Kyra York (kyork@nca.school) to be assigned a new teacher. We will do our best to match you with another teacher.
Wait, I'm used to the previous voucher system... What are Punch Passes?
On iClassPro you will be charged for a punch pass for the number of lessons you selected on your registration form. Every time your student has a lesson, the teacher will register their attendance in iClassPro and your pass will be electronically "punched". Each time your punch pass is all used up, you will be charged for another punch pass through the end of the school year.
This will be easier for our teachers and staff to track lessons and payments, and you'll be able to easily see exactly what you've been charged for and how many lessons you have remaining!
What if I need to terminate lessons?
What if I have a problem with my teacher?
In addition, we realize that not all teachers and students make the best fit. We do our best during placement to take age, experience, and any additional information into account, but we may not always be able to place you with your best fit depending on a variety of factors. If you would like to change teachers, please contact us!
What happens at the end of the year?
If you are returning to NCA the next fall and would like lessons with the same teacher, you will have priority scheduling with your teacher.
