Capstone
October 2 - 6, 2017
This week
The students are fine tuning their annotated bibliographies. They will continue with their research for their project.
Upcoming Assignments
Students will be continuing to look for mentors and continue in their research. I want to remind you that this class does not meet the minimum grade requirements of the district since it is an independent study. Grades will be taken at naturally occurring intervals. Please feel free to contact me at any time if you want to know how your student is coming along.
Topics
Please ask your students about their projects. They are all very passionate about their ideas. This year, we have a 5013c, two therapeutic devices, a habitat for humanity house, and a non-profit community theatre. I also have two students working on a capstone that could not be in the class - they will be presenting a restored car and a project involving computer engineering. I am so excited about their ideas and I cannot wait to see them to fulfillment! They are going to be outstanding!
