Library Program
Each class meets once a week with the school's teacher librarian to learn about library resources, information gathering, and technology. Students have the opportunity to check out books daily based on their interests. The focus for all grade levels is to develop a love for reading and learning.
Students in the library program will learn how to:
* think critically
* develop good questioning techniques
* search for answers
* use technology safely and efficiently
* investigate library resources
* gather ideas
* evaluate different points of view
* learn cooperatively
* have fun reading in a comfortable environment
