Additionally, each teacher has created and assigned Georgia Milestones End of Grade practice for your child on USATestPrep.com. Your child knows how to long onto this site if you are interested in spending time practicing for the test with your student.
Due tomorrow!!!
If your child is attending the A.D.V.A.N.C.E. program, their posters are due next Tuesday, March 1st. Direction: Using a standard sheet of construction size paper or poster board, design a theme of safety based on what you've learned in A.D.V.A.N.C.E. An example would be to be safe and don't drink or smoke. Use your imagination!
A.D.V.A.N.C.E. essay directions: A.D.V.A.N.C.E. Pledge: On a standard sheet of notebook paper, create a five paragraph pledge on the following topics:
- How you feel about the A.D.V.A.N.C.E. program;
- What you've learned in A.D.V.A.N.C.E. to stay safe
- Why is it important to be drug, gang, and violence free.
The start of the new quarter means a new round of book responses due by the end of the grading period. Most classes require 7 books per grading period.
We will be collecting baby pictures (under 1 yr old) of 5th graders for the yearbook. You can email them to cmcsiyearbook@gmail.com or send them in for us to scan. Please send them in NO LATER than Friday, February 26!
