October 25, 2019
Leader In Me
In Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood, we learn to build trust, communicate effectively, listen intently, and respond confidently.
Do you:
- Recognize the importance of seeing others’ points of view and not prejudging
- Recognize how “I” Messages quicken conflict resolution
- Understand why listening first builds relationships

The Weather is Getting Colder...
Written by: Bryce Pasero
...Which means our Lost & Found is getting bigger!
It's around that time, fireplaces lit, and hot cocoa being brewed, the holidays and the cold start to set in. At our recess it gets cold, so we wear our coats to keep us warm, but if we lose them, they might be gone, so put your names on them to keep them as yours! If you buy an aviator jacket, you can get your name sewn on it for a little extra money. This helps, and it keeps the jacket as yours. You might also want to take out that sharpie and write names on those water bottles! Stay warm, Aviators!
