MGSD Laptop Refresh

Laptop refresh for all MMS students will take place at Mooresville Intermediate School (MIS). Please click here for more information. PLEASE return all overdue MGSD library books when picking up your new computer.

It is very important that you back up your data to Google Drive or an external device prior to arriving to switch out your laptop. A document to help you back up your laptop to an external drive is here. Here is a video to show you how to back up to Google Drive.

When you come to switch out your laptop, please bring your laptop with the protective cover, charger brick and 6 ft. extension cord. If at all possible, please place your charger brick and little duckhead (2 prong plug), if you have it, in a plastic ziplock bag. If you do not turn in a charger, you will not receive a new one with your new laptop. You should also wear a face covering.

Your new laptop will be in a protective cover. You MUST keep this cover on the laptop at all times. If the cover is removed, it is a direct violation of our RUP and subject to disciplinary action.

MMS Athletics

MMS sports events have begun! Here's what all spectators need to know about new regulations due to Covid-19:

  • All tickets this year are $5.00. There is not a separate price for students.
  • 100 spectators at a maximum at any one event
  • All spectators and officials will be temperature screened and asked a list of health questions before they pay for a ticket
  • All spectators, administrators, game management, and coaches MUST wear a mask at all times.
  • Non-family members must sit at least 6 feet away from others.
  • Spectators MUST remain seated during the event. Going to restrooms or the concession stand and returning immediately to your seat are only exceptions.
  • Team snacks and drinks are not allowed. Student-athletes must bring their own or purchase from the concession stand. Only drinks and pre-packaged items will be sold.
  • Spectators MUST return to their cars as soon as the athletic event is over to wait for their child.

Please help the students, staff, and families of MGSD stay safe by all of us following these regulations.

Thanks, and we look forward to a successful season of MMS athletics!
