Staff Newsletter for 2016-2017, Episode 8

We are TEAM EAST!

Because our year is quickly passing, we believe it is important to intentionally pause to reflect on all our students have accomplished this year. Take time to think about how far your students have come and be encouraged by their progress.

We also know how important it is to be reflective. There is much for us to learn about the impact of our planning and instruction on our students and their progress. As we continue with RtI and data conversations we will be posing questions that allow us to reflect so that we can continue to learn and grow as professionals.

In addition, our common planning time is being more defined around our goals in addition to our dedicated time to plan. We have started our focus on Guided Reading and we are learning along with you about what the needs are in our classrooms and how to better support you. I encourage you to focus on how we will use what we are learning to better serve our students and families. And maximize the time we are blessed with to push ourselves to the next level in our own understanding and abilities.

As always, we feel so blessed to serve the needs of our families
