SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
Mark your calendars! The Scholastic Book Fair is November 5th-9th and every purchase made will help support our students, as well as our school library.
· Book Fair Hours
Monday-Thursday: 8:30-3:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:30-3:00 p.m.
*Note: We will close from 12:00-12:30 for lunch each day.
· Special Events:
We will have extended hours on Thursday, November 8th from 3:30-6:30 p.m.

Veteran's Day Assembly
Please continue sending your veteran's pictures to Mike Bowling (tvsmike@macnmike.com) for the Veteran's Day video tribute. Mike asks that these be emailed to him in highest quality possible. Please include name, rank, years served and/or locations.
Book Fair
The Fall Scholastic Book Fair is approaching and we need your help! We need volunteers to assist with running this event for the kids.

Tiger Dens
Dachshunds, Owls, and Whales, OH MY!! On Tuesday, October 23, Horizon students participated in the first session of our multi-age groups which will be called our Tiger Dens. Tiger Dens will meet once per month for a time of team-building, learning, and fun! Students participated in get-to-know you activities in our first session and a great time was had by all!
Red Ribbon Week
October 27 – National Prescription Drug Take Back Day
Families are encouraged to wrap up Red Ribbon Week by clearing out any leftover or prescription drugs from your home.
