Learning Environment Hardship
For second semester, parents have made a 9-week commitment for the learning environment (face-to-face or remote learning) that works best for their family. However, unforeseen circumstances may warrant a change in the learning environment. If you experience a hardship or special circumstances and would like to change your student(s) learning environment at any time during the next nine weeks, you will need to email Ms. Boyd (boydn@fultonschools.org) and Ms. Poole (poole@fultonschools.org). You will be sent a Learning Environment Hardship form to complete that will need to be approved by both the principal and zone superintendent. Please remember that this process is for unforeseen circumstances and is not meant to be a regular practice.

PARENTS ARE A VALUABLE RESOURCE IN THE EDUCATION OF THEIR STUDENTS
As a parent, you are your child's first and most important teacher. When parents and families are involved in their children's schools, the children do better and have better feelings about going to school. In fact, many studies show that what the family does is more important to a child's school success than how much money the family makes or how much education the parents have. There are many ways that parents can support their children's learning at home and throughout the school year. Here are some ideas to get you started!
Twenty Ways You Can Help Your Child
SCHOOL REFUSAL: WHAT IT MEANS WHEN KIDS WON’T DO SCHOOLWORK.
When kids get stressed or are struggling, it is common for them to say they are not going to do their schoolwork. They may even say they are not going to school. But saying things like that is different from shutting down and not doing work or going to school. Note, this article is bilingual, but you must select ES on the upper right side of the screen.
