A Message from Principal Blair
JMS Family,
Our staff has been busy all summer preparing our campus for the new year. We are so excited to welcome you back into our buildings with our teachers ready to teach and our students ready to learn!
You will notice many new faces at JMS this year as we continue to grow and meet the needs of our students. We have added 6 additional teaching positions, a campus receptionist, and a Dean of Students to the administrative team. You will also notice some adjustments to our instructional schedule to ensure our campus remains student-centered and focused on learning opportunities for all. This will include an 8-period school day which will provide students with four elective classes. Students will also have "WIN" time two days per week to reinforce key concepts and extend their learning. On these days, we will have a modified bell schedule with "WIN" time built into the school day. It's going to be a great year at JMS!
We look forward to greeting you at 6th Grade Orientation and 7th/8th Grade Open House.

Online Registration
We are aware of some technical difficulties many of you have experienced with our online enrollment. The site will undergo maintenance for the next 24 hours to repair these issues. We will also have paper registration documents available at 6th Grade Orientation and 7th/8th Grade Open House.

A Message From Child Nutrition Services
The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) has announced that all public schools on the National School Breakfast & Lunch Program will be offering free breakfast & lunch to students for the SY 2021 - 2022 due to the pandemic with many families needing assistance during these times.
Students may still add money to their student account with cash or check or make a payment online at www.schoolcafe.com for snacks and ala carte items or a second meal.
