All incoming 9th and 12th grade students in Snohomish counties for fall 2022 are eligible to apply to the Sno-Isle summer school. The Senior Assembly team is putting together a slideshow for the Senior Assembly on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. They are requesting pictures of your senior during their time in school from kindergarten through 12th grade. Pictures need to have two or more people in the photo, (no individual pictures please). Please submit 5 - 10 photos to Ashlyn Hatch by Friday May 13, 2022.

The 2022 Senior Prom is Saturday, May 14 at the Hidden Meadows Venue in Snohomish. Tickets are on sale through the bookkeeping office for $60 until May 13. We have a number of Scholarships available for students who need financial assistance, please see the bookkeeping office for more details.

Seniors, it's time to ask that special lady in your life to this year's Senior Mother Tea. This a chance to show your mom, grandma or special lady in your life how important they are to you. We will have an afternoon of fun and entertainment, with speakers, poetry readings, musical performers, food and more. Tickets go sale Monday April 18 for $30 per group in the bookkeepers office or online through this link. Please specify how many in your group when you sign up. On Monday, June 13, our 2022 Graduation Ceremony will be held at the Angel of the Winds Events Center. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with the ceremony beginning at 7:30 p.m. Every student will be given 6 tickets, if you require more tickets please email the front office with your students name and amount needed. Tickets will be given to Seniors at the Senior check out day in June. (exact date is TBD).

Virtual: Community and Technical College Fairs. Admissions representatives from Cascadia College, Edmonds College, Everett Community College, Lake Washington Institute of Technology, and Shoreline Community College have teamed up to share more about their schools and the programs they offer on June 2, and July 21.

The Hypnotist is coming to Glacier Peak on Wednesday, May 4 from 8-9 p.m. at Glacier Peak, in the PAC. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $10. Purchase your tickets at the bookkeeping office, online or at the doors when you arrive. See you there!

So that we can better plan student transportation needs and routes/schedules for the 2022—2023 school year, we have implemented an online Student Transportation Input Form at www.sno.wednet.edu/ridethebus. Between now and through early summer, we are asking all parents/guardians of 2022-2023 students to please complete this form. The form only needs to be completed once per student.

What is PM at the Peak? An opportunity for students to get specific support in their classes. It is not simply a ‘study hall’. While students are welcome to use the time to study and work independently, it is designed to provide students an opportunity to ask for, and receive help on their homework, essays, projects, etc. There will be teachers and student tutors available, there is no formal process students need to complete to attend. BSU (Black Student Union) Club is starting back up on Thursdays from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in Mrs. Veach's classroom, 312. BSU hopes to create cultural unity and provide a safe space for students to talk about things that impact their lives especially as it pertains to race, culture, inclusion, and diversity. Code Club is for students who want to explore how to write software in Java, Python, or other languages for computers and other programmable devices like Arduinos, Raspberry Pj computers, drones. FCCLA is a club that helps students become leaders in their family, careers, and communities. FCCLA provides opportunities for students to learn new skills in the area of Family and Consumer Sciences while helping the community. FFA-Vet Science Club is available to students in Animal or Advanced Animal Biology for active membership. Other students not enrolled in those courses may attend meetings but may not become active members. This club focuses on veterinary medicine and the multiple FFA Vet science competitions that lead up to the State Competition at WSU. Meeting Thursdays, 2:20 in room 108.

Impact Club is an inclusive, accepting and safe space for all students to find support and contribute to a positive community. We are dedicated to creating a safe environment for LGBT+ students and bringing awareness to issues on sexuality and gender. Club will be meeting on Tuesdays at 2:20 p.m. in room 704.

We provide our members with opportunities to serve, build character, and develop leadership. Key Club members around the world are learning how to lead and stand for what's right through service and volunteerism. High School students are making a positive impact as they serve others in their schools and communities. Tuesdays at 2:20 p.m. room 307.

Model UN is a national program that engages students in role play simulations around significant global issues. As the world becomes increasingly interconnected and interdependent, Model UN provides an opportunity for students to learn more about world issues, foreign affairs, and global citizenship. Students will have the opportunity to attend a Model UN conference where they simulate UN committees. You will also learn researching, public speaking, debating, writing, critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership skills. This club meets Monday's after school. To provide entertainment and knowledge related to Motorsport. We will have presentations of each sport and race. There will be games related to the presented sport. This club meets Tuesday and Thursday in room 219 at 2:20.

Students compete in a wide variety of speech, argumentative, and theatrical events against other schools in our region. Our team members regularly qualify for the Washington State tournament, as well as the NSDA National tournament. Speech and Debate meets in Mr. Hauck's room, 315, Tuesday's and Thursday's from 3-4 p.m.

Turning Point USA GPHS is a place to have dialogue and discuss fiscal responsibility, free markets, capitalism, and American principles. All are welcome. 2nd Thursday of the month , 2:15 p.m. in the College and Career center.
