Local Scholarship Award Recipients
The Local Scholarship Award recipients were mailed their award notifications this week. An email was also sent to those students and families that received and award. The Snohomish Education Foundation thanks all seniors for applying to the Local Scholarship Program and encourages students that did not receive an award to keep applying for scholarships! Sno-Isle Tech Summer School
All incoming 9th and 12th grade students in Snohomish counties for fall 2022 are eligible to apply to the Sno-Isle summer school. Applications open May 2 at 4 p.m. and is “first come first served.” Students may set up their application account in advance. Please see this flyer for more information and programs offered.

Tickets for this amazing production are on sale now - adults are $15/each and students/senior citizens/military are $10/each. All tickets must be purchased online. Please select performance date/time and seat at the time of purchase.
Cinderella premiered Friday, April 15 at 7 p.m. Other dates include Thursday, April 28; Fridays on April 22 and April 29; and Saturdays on April 16, April 23 and April 30. Showtimes are 7 p.m. with additional 2 p.m. matinees on Saturdays.

Glacier Peak Athletes
If you have committed to continue your athletic career in college and will be signing a letter of intent or a letter of commitment, please let the athletic office know. With so many different signing dates and our athletes committing throughout the year, we plan to recognize all of our athletes that commit to playing college at the same time in the Spring.

2022 Graduation Speech Tryouts
Are you interested in representing your class while speaking to your peers at one of your upcoming momentous occasions? Graduation Speech tryout sign-ups and speech rubric are available at the front desk in the main office. Tryouts will be held April 29 at 12:45 in Mr. Benson’s room (209).

The 2022 Senior Prom is Saturday, May 14 at the Hidden Meadows Venue in Snohomish. Tickets are on sale through the bookkeeping office for $60 until May 13. We have a number of Scholarships available for students who need financial assistance, please see the bookkeeping office for more details.

Class of 2023 Parent-led Grad Night Party
Are you a parent of a current Junior? The 2022 Grad night party committee is looking for Junior parents! Now is the time for the 2023 Junior parents to sign up for their Grad Night Party committee, without you there is no party! Junior parents are also needed to help facilitate the 2022 Grad Night Party check-in area. To thank you for volunteering your time on Monday, June 13, 2022, you will be given a discount on the 2023 Grad Night Party ticket. Questions or interested in being apart of this committee? 2022 Senior Grad Night Party
Seniors it is time to sign up for your parent led, all night grad party! Click this link for all the information, Grad Night Party! The grad night party will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022, immediately after graduation. Tickets may be purchased through May 1 and are $275. Career and Technical Scholarship
Apply now for the Career and Technical Scholarship provided by the Washington State Opportunity Scholarship program! The Career and Technical Scholarship (CTS) provides Washington state residents with $1,500 per quarter towards an eligible associate degree, certificate or apprenticeship in a trade, STEM or health care field. Funding can be used at any Washington state community or technical college and can be used to cover tuition, fees and other costs of attendance such as housing, transportation, food and more. Sophomores through Seniors interested in taking the ASVAB please sign up here. The test will be administered at 8 a.m. on May 4 in the College and Career Center. The ASVAB can be used to meet a graduation pathway, military recruitment, or career exploration. For more information please see the ASVAB applicant website. Community and Technical College Fair!
Virtual: Community and Technical College Fairs. Admissions representatives from Cascadia College, Edmonds College, Everett Community College, Lake Washington Institute of Technology, and Shoreline Community College have teamed up to share more about their schools and the programs they offer on June 2, and July 21.

So that we can better plan student transportation needs and routes/schedules for the 2022—2023 school year, we have implemented an online Student Transportation Input Form at www.sno.wednet.edu/ridethebus. Between now and through early summer, we are asking all parents/guardians of 2022-2023 students to please complete this form. The form only needs to be completed once per student.

Black Student Union Club
BSU (Black Student Union) Club is starting back up on Thursdays from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in Mrs. Veach's classroom, 312. BSU hopes to create cultural unity and provide a safe space for students to talk about things that impact their lives especially as it pertains to race, culture, inclusion, and diversity. BSU does not discriminate with who can participate and engage in these conversations. All students are invited.

Code Club/Dell Tech Crew
FFA - Veterinary Science Team
FFA-Vet Science Club is available to students in Animal or Advanced Animal Biology for active membership. Other students not enrolled in those courses may attend meetings but may not become active members. This club focuses on veterinary medicine and the multiple FFA Vet science competitions that lead up to the State Competition at WSU. Meeting Thursdays, 2:20 in room 108.
Game Club kicked off with a bang! We meet in room 209 after school until 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays! No need to know how to play one of the many games we have! Just show up and have fun. See Mr. Benson for details.

Sports Medicine Club
All sports medicine students are automatically in the club. Anyone is welcome to join! We promote healthcare career opportunities and enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. Human anatomy, physiology, nutrition, medical terminology, injury prevention, injury diagnosis, therapeutic modalities, and rehabilitation topics will be discussed.
Sports Medicine Club will be a part of the state chapter of HOSA (Future Health Professionals), which is a CTSO (Career and Technical Student Organization)
