Changing Hearts, Changing Lives
Promote life, strengthen families, and offer hope through God’s love.
This ministry, simply put, is about changing hearts...
It’s an easy thing for those of us who are here every day to get caught up in numbers (How many people did we see? How many babies have been born? How many pregnancy tests did we run?).
While the numbers trap is an easy one to fall into, I’m reminded that Jesus never fell into its grasp. He chose twelve men, poured His heart into each one, and the world was turned upside down.
Here at Life and Family Services we do the same thing. Every client who comes in our doors is another opportunity to touch a heart with the love of Jesus Christ and offer the hope He gives.
We are so blessed to be used by God to work with teen parents, women, men, and families who face challenges. They not only need the education and resources we offer, but the hope only He provides to meet those challenges.
We cannot solve every challenge for those we see. But we can point the way toward peace that comes from making wise decisions and holding fast to what is right, even when our instinct is to run toward what seems to be the easiest solution.
I cannot predict what will take place in our society in the months and years to come. Can we tilt the world back in the right direction? I don’t know . . . but I know this much: Together we are nudging this world toward hope again, and, who knows? Perhaps a life we nudge today will be a life-changer tomorrow.

Meet Staff Member Susan Minser!
She came to work at Life and Family Services so that she could share God’s love and protection with those that are struggling or just need a friend to talk to. She shares, “So many girls in this area do not have a mother figure and sometimes feel lost when there is a baby on the way. I want to help.”
