I think we are all ready for a new year, so we have decided to make this theme of our first LIVE virtual assembly! You are welcome to tie this to goal setting in class or New Year’s activities. I will be coming out with activities that could help with this! Please see below for more details about this exciting event!!

What to know:

· The assembly will be 15 minutes for the grade level

· You can choose to take this time for yourself or attend

· Students will login to a separate Zoom link (it will be sent out)

· Please pre-teach expectations for Zoom (muted mic, listening, looking, etc.)

What is needed from you:

· Please talk with your team and send Heather McD time slots that work for your entire team (put 1st choice, 2nd choice)

· Plan for either Thursday, December 17th or Friday, December 18th

· Please note: Fancy Day is December 17th, which would match the theme of the event.

Please give us your date/time options by Monday, Dec 7th.

Please have your students record a short clip about how they ring in the New Year! This can be done through zoom or Flipgrid! Have them send it to mcdonoughh@issaquah.wednet.edu for a possibility to be featured at the assembly!
