Joseph Goebbels

1st Paragraph

Joseph Goebbels was born in October 29, 1897 in Rheydt Germany. In 1933, the year Adolf Hitler became chancellor of Germany, he named Joseph Goebbles , his trusted friend and colleague, to the key post of minister for public enlightenment and propaganda.

2nd Paragraph

Propaganda was important to win over the majority of the German public who had not supported Hitler and to push forward the Nazis' radical program, which required the support of broad sectors of the population.State propaganda was headed by Joseph Goebbels sought to manipulate and deceive the German population and the outside world.They waged campaigns that facilitated the persecution of Jews and others excluded from the Nazi vision of the “National Community.”

3rd Paragraph

Joseph Goebbels and other nazis publicly burned books in cities across Germany.In their drive to get rid of all the books in the country that they said were "un-German,". In front of the Opera House in Berlin, a chanting crowd burns books written by Jews. Joseph Goebbels, was Hitler's minister of propaganda and public information, speaks of the intended "reeducation" of Germany.In conclusion Joesph Goebbels was a nazi minister for propaganda and public education.
