are invited to register to take the ACT at Grand Rapids HS in the main gym on Tuesday, April 4th from 8am - 12:30pm. Cost is $51, unless the student qualifies for free/reduced lunch or if the cost is a barrier. Contact your counselor to obtain a waiver.

JUNIORS:

Test Schedule:

  • WHEN: Tuesday April 4th
  • LOCATION: GRAND RAPIDS HIGH SCHOOL MAIN GYM
  • CHECK IN: Between 8am and 8:30am in the lobby of the main gym
  • TEST: Starts promptly at 8:30am until approximately 12:30pm; Late arrivals cannot be admitted after testing has started
  • The optional Writing test portion will NOT be administered.

Sign up by March 28th to secure your spot. Requests after that date will be subject to availability.

There will be pre-work to do ahead of time. Watch for a pass to come down to the counseling office a few days before the test. Contact the counseling department with any questions.

  • Please pay by the day of testing or talk with your counselor if this is a hardship.
  • Payments can be made by cash or check to ISD 318 and dropped off in the counseling office. Or payment can be made online through the link below.

STUDY FOR THE ACT:

There are so many resources for studying for the ACT. Take some time and work on it in small time spots. Make an appointment with your self each week to focus on this important task! Take some practice tests to get used to answering the questions in a fast paced environment.
