Student Assistantship Program this summer at Danforth - if you love art, check this out!
Studio Assistantship Program is designed to expose high school students to the administrative functions and educational practices of a visual arts school. In their role as Studio Assistants, participants contribute to the efficiency of school operations, assist instructors with all aspects of teaching and creating, including material prep, classroom management, and critique. Most importantly, studio assistants act as leaders and provide positive and beneficial experiences to Danforth students. Assistants will participate in a variety of classes, which will afford them the experience of differentiated lesson planning and teaching methods. Working with individual students will allow them to see the degree of student learning at different developmental levels.
