Vision - To ensure the growth and development of all learners
From The Office
Arbor View Families,
Welcome back! I hope the kids had a great Spring Break. There is a lot going on in the 4th quarter that will make the time go by quickly. I'm sure of that.
PTO is planning a Bingo Night for April 1st. You should have seen information about it last week. They are also planning for the 1st Arbor View Carnival to take place on May 6th.
If your children are in 3rd-5th grades they will be taking the NSCAS Reading and Math (3-5) and the Science tests (5th) this quarter. Please look for information from your child's teacher so you are aware of when these will take place.
All students in K-5 will take the MAP Reading and Math benchmark assessments this quarter as well.
Report Cards will be sent home for the 3rd quarter on Friday.
The Cox Education Hero program is back this year. See the information below about nominating a teacher if you feel compelled to do so this year.
Don't forget to order your yearbook now. PTO has included information in this newsletter as well.
If your child has been exposed to or tested positive for COVID please email arborview@epsne.org. This will allow us to respond as quickly as possible rather than going through the classroom teacher. Thank you for your cooperation.
Thanks for all that you do to support your children here at school.

From our School Nurse
Note from the Nurse…
If you received a health screen referral letter within the last few months, please visit the appropriate medical professional and have them complete the bottom portion of the letter and return it to school with your student.
Please remember to send a couple of clean face masks to school with your student(s) each day; one to wear and one in case the other mask gets dirty or breaks during the day.
Please notify the office if your student has been exposed to someone with COVID-19.
Follow district guidelines if your student has had an exposure or is symptomatic. We want to continue to do our best to keep our students and staff as safe and healthy as possible.
Here is the Response to COVID-19 Guidance_January 2022 from the Elkhorn Public Schools website.
It’s not too early to start scheduling your school and sports physicals!
Students who will be entering Kindergarten in the fall or who are new students from out of state will need to submit a physical exam and vision exam (including a test for strabismus, amblyopia, and acuity) dated after February 17th, 2022, as well as a current immunization record including the Kindergarten booster shots. Here is the Summary of the School Immunization Rules and Regulations
Students entering the 7th grade in the fall will need to submit a physical exam dated after February 17th, 2022, and an updated immunization record including a Tdap booster.
Students wanting to participate in a sport at the middle school or high school must have a sports physical completed sometime after May 1st, 2022, and uploaded to rschool. (**7th graders still need to submit a physical exam to the front office as well, as these are different systems).
Thank you!
