About the Diagnostic Drawing Series (DDS)
Graphic profiles typically seen in DDSs from different psychiatric groups will be emphasized in order to facilitate differential diagnosis between those with schizophrenia, major depression, borderline personality disorder, dissociative identity disorder, bipolar disorder, dementia, post-traumatic stress disorder, and others. Cross-cultural research will also be reviewed.

TRAINING FACULTY
Anne Mills, MA, ATR-BC, LPC, LCPAT, director of the Diagnostic Drawing Series Archive, owner of Art Therapy Services. In private practice for 25+ years, specializations include the treatment of survivors of severe early trauma who are highly dissociative. Anne provides resiliency-focused treatment for adolescents and adults who have experienced difficult transitions such as illness, bereavement, and loss of culture (refugees, international students). She was art therapy director at GWU, and has published on the DDS, assessment, ethics, and trauma treatment.
Kathryn Johnson, PhD, ATR, is an art therapist and licensed psychologist with 20+ years' experience working in psychiatric and medical facilities. She is a psychologist at the Everett Clinic, where she provides therapy, psychological evaluation, and neuropsychological testing. Kathryn is medical director of psychosocial services at the Providence Regional Cancer Partnership. She is the senior Diagnostic Drawing Series teaching associate, providing training, and overseeing research. She was also a faculty member with Antioch University Seattle for 10 years teaching assessment, research, and ethics.
