Pasco Schools ELL Parent Newsletter

VOL V - June 2021

Assessment News

Due to anticipated delays with assessment results this year, preliminary grade statements have been made available through myStudent and the parent portal. We hope this will assist families in seeing grade info prior to the "official" report card release later this summer

Once logged in to myStudent, preliminary grade statements can be found under "Child Info" within the drop-down menu below the student's profile picture on the left menu bar.

Student Vaccine Clinics Available – Summer 2021

The Florida Department of Health in Pasco County is teaming up with Pasco County Schools and Health Hero to offer free COVID-19 vaccinations to Pasco County children age 12 and older. Vaccinations also will be made available to children’s eligible family members. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to receive the vaccine.

Students who are fully vaccinated may avoid being quarantined and excluded from the classroom due to exposure. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says that if a fully vaccinated individual has been around someone who has COVID-19, they are not required to stay away from others or get tested unless they have symptoms.

The Pfizer vaccine will be available at several school locations around the county on June 21, 22, and 23. Appointments are required to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
